survival international
Survival International is a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with indigenous peoples to amplify their voices and protect the environment at the same time. On their website, they explain that, "From the Amazon to the Kalahari, from the jungles of India to the Congo rainforest, we work in partnership with tribal peoples to protect their lives and land. They suffer racism, land theft, forced development and genocidal violence just because they live differently. It must stop." In the past 50 years, they have worked with over 100 tribes around the world. "We fight for tribal peoples’ survival. We stop loggers, miners, and oil companies from destroying tribal lands, lives and livelihoods across the globe. We lobby governments to recognize indigenous land rights. We document and expose the atrocities committed against tribal people and take direct action to stop them."

amazon conservation
Amazon Conservation is an organization that supports fire prevention and response efforts in the Bolivian Amazon. The Amazon is one of the most important ecosystems on the planet and its survival is vital to ours. By 2030, most of the forest may be destroyed. Immediate action must be taken. Monetary contributions to this organization go directly to their on-the-ground fire prevention and response activities, including the purchase of firefighting equipment and safety gear. Amazon Conservation has been working on the ground in Peru and Bolivia for the past 20 years and need our help to continue doing so.
